• Regarding Fit:

As a binder company we are transparent and do not photoshop any of our product images — we think this is the only logical and ethical way to show how binders look on different bodies. It should be noted that the human body is full of wrinkles, lumps, bumps, bulges, gaps, and a plethora of other variations — and so your binder may look different on you than it looks on someone else! We urge binder-wearers to have this in mind when shopping for and wearing a binder (if you search any social media or website of binder-wearers you will see a variety of fits, but even these are curated and we try to be real with y’all). Some gapping is normal if your chest is larger than your stomach, some bulging at the armpits or waist can be expected, folds and wrinkles are absolutely to be expected when wearing any garment made of fabric that isn’t rigid.

A binder fits you when you feel comfortable, safe, and happy with how you look and feel in it. Any decent binder should absolutely create the appearance of a flatter chest, that’s the goal. So — a binder doesn’t fit if it doesn’t flatten your chest at all, but it also doesn’t fit if it squeezes you in ways that are painful and could cause damage to your body. You are the judge of what feels best on your body and we urge everyone to bind carefully and responsibly — we are here if you need any help and will try our best to assist in any way we can. Below we have some simple guidelines to whether your binder may be too big or too small for further reference. Everyone has preferences, we have thousands of satisfied Bareskin Binder wearing customers, but If for some reason our binder isn’t the best option for you, because of function or fit, that’s totally okay and we want everyone to find the product that works best for them even if it’s not ours.

  • Signs Your Binder Might Be Too Small:

-Some spillage is normal but too much at the armpit, cleavage area, or waist may mean your binder is too tight

-You are unable to wear it for extended periods of time (please be advised we do not recommend wearing a binder for longer than 8 hours at a time, during rigorous activities, and you should never sleep in your binder)

    -Skin irritation

-Pain, numbness, tingling, or extreme discomfort

-Excessive difficulty getting your binder on and off

    -Inability to take full breaths

DO NOT CONTINUE WEARING YOUR BINDER IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING TROUBLE BREATHING OR ARE IN PAIN. IF YOUR BINDER IS TOO SMALL PLEASE CONTACT US AT YOURPALS@FLAVNT.COM TO FACILITATE AN EXCHANGE.

  • Signs Your Binder Might Be Too Big:

-Your binder isn’t flattening your chest at all

-Your binder fits like a sports bra or tank top might

    -Your chest needs readjusted regularly

-There is a lot of gapping at the armholes, chest, or waist (note that gapping at the waist is unavoidable on some folks if their waist is very slim compared to their chest)

    -The straps feel very loose

-The fit does not feel snug

IF YOUR BINDER IS TOO BIG DON’T HESITATE TO REACH OUT TO US AT YOURPALS@FLAVNT.COM SO WE CAN FIND YOU THE PROPER FIT AND DISCUSS AN EXCHANGE!
